Built By Contractors
ReFIT, Remodeling For Independence Together, is a local Portland nonprofit organization, dedicated to helping people struggling with illness, injury, or disability to live independently and safely in the comfort of their own homes.
By providing no-cost essential modification services such as access ramps, bathroom modifications, widening doorways, and installing grab bars, we help homeowners who want to stay in their homes but lack the financial resources to make necessary changes.
You can help provide the needed modifications to make home safe for a low income disabled person with mobility issues.
We need your special skills and resources to enable our clients to live safe, independent lives with dignity. Dedicating your time and resources to help those less fortunate will be a life-changing experience for you as well. Whether you can help a little or a lot, we are grateful for it all.
